Is it my fault..

..that I’m a girl?
I didnt have anything to do with it!!
I hate having so much pressure on me to look good!! I dont want to loom good… Im happy the way I am.. Im no fashion model. I’m an average 20 year old. There are times when I feel the need to look pretty but there are times when I want to look like I just fell out of bed! I dont know why! But this is the way I am!
Why is that so difficult to understand??!!

Sometimes it is just so much easier being a guy!

No makeup,no high heels, no need to accessorize! Putting on a few kilos doesnt make much of a difference! What a life!!

Getting organized

I am so excited right now! I feel like im finally getting things in order.. My life had gotten too disorganized! I finally got myself a planner.. I have charted in elaborate detail how the whole of today is *supposed* to go.. I am also making a list of all the food I eat. If I can see what I’m eating then it will get easier to start eating right! Another thing I noticed was that I was spending money unnecessarily.. So, I’ve decided to note down the amount of money I spend daily and to start saving up..
So far.. Its going great.. I know its only been 3 hours but hey.. thats good too isnt it??

Its great to see that Diana’s back.. Or should I say the new and improved Diana.. She got herself a new blog and im looking forward to hearing.. um.. reading her take on life!
p.s- She is one of my favorite bloggers too..

Now that I’m done boasting and advertising .. Ill be off!

My professor has started blogging! I love the way she writes..
Check her blog out!
Among my links there are a few that I check daily.. I think what really speaks to me in a blog is simplicity. I get lost among big words and long posts. I would rather read a small paragraph on what happened in your life yesterday!!
Among my favorite bloggers is Benita. She’s Eben’s cousin.. I’ve been reading her blog for over a year and she really inspired me to start my own blog.(She didnt even know until recently) I love her style. I love her simplicity and I love the heart that she has for God!

I started my weight loss program today with the help of my cousin! Had a nice time but my body aches all over!!

Oscar and Paras are back! I missed them so much! Cant wait to see them on Sunday!

I miss College!!

Someone found my blog while looking for ‘moose lawn tractor’!!!! how weird is that?!! As far as I remember I’ve not written a single thing about lawns or tractors or anything like that.. I don’t think i’ve mentioned flowers either!! I hate flowers!!! Except daisies.. that’s coz they look so happy all the time

So i tried studying today.. It seems so hard now.. especially since I’ve lost touch with it.. :D But I seem to be making some progress. The words on the book are starting to make sense!

Yesterday was Valentine’s day.. Yeah I know.. Some news flash! lol
This might sound weird to many of you but we had Police protection in College! That’s because there are some political parties that take offense to celebrating Valentine’s Day.. Almost every year, they break gift shops and set fire to cards and other typical V-Day gifts. One year, they even threatened to get any couple they found on the streets married. hahaha!!
I find all this completely hilarious.. celebrating Valentine’s day seems like a complete waste of money and time!! Maybe I’d feel better if I had someone special to share it with it.. *thinks for a while* No.. I’d still think it was a waste of money! Why just have one day in the whole year to celebrate your love! And especially when everyone else in the whole world seems intent on celebrating it too! how boring!
So yesterday I, along with most of my friends, celebrated Independence Day!!

Now that I’m done ‘expressing’ myself.. Ill get back to doing something productive

But ill leave you with this quote-

Lucky?

I was watching this ad on TV about this guy- the luckiest guy on earth according to the ad. He stands next to a car and the owner just gives him the key to the Car! He’s out jogging with his wife/girlfriend and they pass by this beautiful house and the owner says- This is your house from this day on! The ad is about how not everyone is that lucky and we have to work for our own wealth.. Some mutual funds thing..
But i was thinking about was how much we are like that young man.. God gives us so much.. His blessings cannot be counted or measured. Every moment is a blessing from God! I can always count on Him to bring a smile on my face.. no matter what!
And like that young man in the ad, we dont even deserve it. We really dont! Sometimes I am far from grateful for most of those blessings. But they still keep coming. Its hard to understand because all of my life I have been taught about being fair and how you must earn your blessings. Thats the way the world works.
God’s world is so upside down, so completely crazy.. I love it. I love the way he works..

I better get back to studying now!

Still learning..

So, my exams were really really bad.. but my professors have been kind enough to let us all have another go at it! *not being sarcastic* Which is really great coz now I am motivated to study!!! lol
I was going through my Abnormal Psych book trying to study the Chapter on Schizophrenia and there were  a whole lot of thoughts that ran thru my mind.. It must be so scary to not know the difference between what is real and what isnt.. To be shunned by people.. People who you thought loved you and cared for you..
You cant really blame the family for staying away from them.. It can get really difficult. I wouldnt want to be in their shoes either.
It brings me to the question of ‘Why’. Why do they have to go thru this? Sickness and death is still something I dont quite understand and it hurts to see people go thru anything like this.
I’d appreciate your thoughts on this- whatever they are..

I’m still a learner and I’m glad I can always remain one when it comes to God!
